NATIONAL PARKS :

National Parks are of very great importance. These serves as the homes of different plants as well as fauna. Here are some of the national parks found in India -

1. Kaziranga National Park.

This is situated in Assam at the banks of Brahmaputra river.

2. Jim Corbett National Park.

Located in the state of Uttarakhand which was established in the year

1936.

WILDLIFE SANCTUARIES :

Five hundred fourteen wildlife sanctuaries are the total number of such sanctuaries present in India.
