Cause : The cause of an infection is whichever type of organism has entered the body. A specific virus, for example, will be the cause of a viral infection.

Viruses and bacteria are present everywhere on the earth . They are found on animals, plants, etc.

• The animals which carry these viruses are called as Vectors. ( bats, mosquitoes, etc ) .
• the viruses are present in a very weak state in the environment until the find a healthy host ( who carries them ) to infect and spread its genes ( RNA mainly )
• once they reach the host cell, they get absorbed into the cell and start multiplying their genetic material.
• The virus cell has 3 layers-
• 1) cell membrane 2) protein layer 3) genetic material
