1.What is Plastic?
​ ​Plastic is a material consisting of any of a wide range of synthetic or semi synthetic organic compound that are malleable and can be moulded into solid objects. Plastics are typically organic Polymers of high molecular mass but they often contain other substance.

2.How can be reduce use of plastics?
​ ​We cannot close use of plastics but some methods can be adopted to reduce the use of plastic are---

=>Bring your own cloth bags to the grocery store or any other store.

=> Don't buy beverages bottles in plastic because glass is great to use.

=> Buy bread from bakeries or those packets in paper.

=> Buy Bulk foods with your own container.

=> Bring your own reusable container and utensils with you when you eat out.

=> Refuse plastic straws and bring your own reusable one.

3.What changes you think it can bring in your life if we stop using plastics?
​ ​Surely stoppage of plastic can bring a huge change in our life as in cities pollution will decrease. Also our cities will look beautiful and will be clean because most of the things can be used again and again exception of plastic. We will get clean oxygen and even it can change our life means we can survive some more days and can enjoy life a bit more.





4.Merits and demerits of plastic?

A. Merits of plastics are ​ ​

=> Plastic is available at low cost.
=> Plastic is strong and water as well as chemical resistant.
=>Plastics are light in weight.
=> Plastic is more flexible than glass.
=> Plastics are durable.

B. Demerits of plastics are ​ ​

=> Plastics are renewable
=> Plastics cause water and land pollution.
=> Plastics affect soil fertility.
=> Burning of plastics release poisonous gases and chemicals in air.
=>Many marine creatures are killed due to plastic bottles,plastic bags and other garbages that are end up in the ocean.
=> Plastics are non biodegradable .

5.Something new in discovery of plastics or anything new in this?
​ ​According to me we can't live without plastics. Let understand how I am saying?
See as we studied about Friction without friction we can't walk , we can't apply breaks many concepts are based on friction still we are not stopping and continuously changing sleepers, breaks etc. After end of the thing. Similarly we try to understand the same thing by a natural process as in*Transpiration* 95% water is lost and rest only 5% water is used by the plants but the plant cannot survive without transpiration. In the same way we can say plastic is not bad but we have to care some things like we should store the plastics materials and should throw in different different colour dustbins.

6.Any good or bad experience in your life with plastics ?
​ ​Before some years my grandfather died due to a scissor. Let we explain what really happened actually he was suffering from a pain after check up it was found that there were stones in his kidney and was no option to correct with medicines so operation was an option. Also after some days operation was done successfully and after some days pain started and when he was checked up a scissor &a plastic tool was found inside. So all those mistakes were of the doctors but due to that my grandfather died. So this was a very bad experience in my life regarding plastics.

Plastic is a natural synthetic and semi synthetic organic compound that is extracted from fractional distillation of crude oil and they are malleable and shapeable into different solids.

$\textbf{2) Steps to reduce usage of plastic :}$

To reduce the usage of plastic we have to use cloth bag or just bags for shopping. As they are biodegradable and can easily decompose into the soil by microbes.

As we know that people throw plastics outside. Due to our environment looks dirty. If plastics were not used by people then our environment look clean and beautiful..

a) Merits :-

* They are cheap. (not so expensive)

* Light in weight.

* It is strong.

* Used to make different things like - fan, table, bottle, chair etc.

b) Demerits :-

* Non - biodegradable.

* Cause pollution to the environment on burning.

* Also if they were eaten by stray animals. It block their food pipe and ultimately they die.

* Destroy the beauty of place.

* Block the sewage.

Scientists has created a substance that can eat plastic.

Ideonella sakaiensis is a bacteria that can eat plastics. Due to these bacterias most of the plastic can be finished from earth.

In Idonesia road are build using plastic. The people of Idonesia found a good use of plastic. They use that in making their roads. So we can say that plastic is helpful too. As we discussed that in it's merits too.

$\textbf{6) My experience with plastic :}$

I don't have any my experience with plastic. But as I hear from others it has more disadvantages than advantage. As it cause both air, water and land pollution.

People throw it on roads instead of dustbins. Stray cattles eat it and block their food pipe, which results in their death. During rainy seasons they block the sewage due to this water doesn't flow through the sewage.

Also throwing plastic on road destroy the natural beauty of any place..

So, according to me we don't have to use plastic as it has more disadvantages than advantages. It can be helpful if we use it in a correct manner.
