Concept:

If the relation R is defined from a set X to Y then X is said to be the domain and Y is said to be the Range of the Relation, then

R = {(x,y): x belongs tp X and y belongs to Y}

Given:

It is given that A={1,2} and B={0}

Find:

We have to find the all possible relation from A to B.

Solution:

Given the domain is, A = {1,2} and Range is, B = {0}

The largest relation can be = {(1,0),(2,0)}

Now all the subsets of above relation are also a relation defined from A to B.

So possible relations are = \phi [Null set], {(1,0)}, {(2,0)}, {(1,0), (2,0)}

Hence all possible relations from A = {1,2} to B = {0} are,

\mathbf{\phi}, {(1,0)}, {(2,0)}, {(1,0), (2,0)}.
