Given :  5x⁴ + 4x³ + 3x + 2

To find : Factorize

Solution:

f(x) = 5x⁴ + 4x³ + 3x + 2

f(-1) = 5(-1)⁴ + 4(-1)³ + 3(-1) + 2

=> f(-1) = 5 - 4  - 3 + 2

=> f(-1) = 0

=> -1  is one of the zero

(x -(-1)) = x + 1 is a factor

5x⁴ + 4x³ + 3x + 2

= (x + 1)( 5x³ - x² + x + 2)

no further feasible  factors as x ≈ -0.5947 is one of the zero of 5x³ - x² + x + 2

5x⁴ + 4x³ + 3x + 2 = (x + 1) (5x³ - x² + x + 2)
