Matter is of there forms (other 2 exists tho) :-
Solid, Liquid and Gas

They are inter-changeable.

Solid => Liquid (Melting or fusion)
Liquid => Solid (Freezing)

Gas => Solid
Solid => Gas
(Both sublimation)

Activity :-

=> Take a Ice tray and fill it with water.
=> Get it into the freezer for a few hours.
=> Possibly, the water have been changed into ice.

Here, freezing took place.

By this activity, it's proved that matter can change its state.

Here, Liquid to Solid state.

collect ice in a beaker and put it it on flame
after sometime the ice was converted into liquid at some temperature and after sometime it converted into gas
observation we will observe that I've converted into liquid and liquid converted into gas
result this activity show that matter can change its shape
