Write an activity to show that co2 is necessary for photosynthesis
Answers
Answer:
I think by activity you mean experiment.... so in this case....
Explanation:
Two plant of the same species should be chosen.
One should be encased in a air-tight case and one should be a constant (meaning that the plant will be get carbon dioxide naturally). Give each plant the same amount of water and light which are your control variables. The variable that you will measure (dependent) is the plant's ability to produce glucose which is the product of photosynthesis and the change (independent) is of course the co2 availability. After a few days, a simple starch test can be done on one of the leaves of the plant that had co2 and one other leaf of the plant with no co2. Starch indicates the presence of glucose because that is the food store the plant has. glucose means that the plant was able to photosynthesise because remember... 6CO2+6H2O---> C6H12O6 +6O2 (bold chemical is glucose).
The results showed show that there is only starch in the leaf exposed to co2.
Answer:
Inorganic salts can be obtained with a base through complete or partial neutralization of acid. The part that the acid contributes is called anion in the formation of a salt and the part that the base contributes is called cation. The preliminary examination gives important clues about the presence of some anions or cations. The systematic analysis of anions is an integral part of salt analysis (or qualitative inorganic analysis).
