hey your answer is......
________________________
ACTIVITY.....TO SHOW THAT PRESSURE EXERTED BY LIQUID AT THE BOTTOM OF THE CONTAINER DEPENDS ON HEIGHT OF COLUMN..

PROCEDURE:

◆Take a plastic bottle or a beaker which has tube like structure.

◆Fill the container full with water.

◆Now with any sharp object make holes to the container one by one from top to bottom.

◆You can observe that water flowing out from top holes are coming with less force and falling just infront of the beaker. But the water flowing out from bottom holes are coming with higher force and falling far from container.

◆Repeat the same experiment with half filled container . you will notice change in flow of water outside.

hope it helps......

Answer:

The conclusion is that the pressure exerted by liquid at the bottom of the container depends on the height of its column.

Explanation:

Procedure:-

A balloon is taken and it is tied at the lower end of a glass tube and held vertically. As some water is poured into the tube, the balloon bulges out because the water column exerts pressure at its bottom.

From this can be Observed that the  Force on the balloon is equal to the weight of the water column which is known as the Thrust and as the liquid level increases the pressure increases.

Also, the pressure exerted by the water P can be defined as the ratio of  Thrust to the Area of the bottom of the tube.

Hence, it can be concluded that the pressure exerted by liquid at the bottom of the container depends on the height of its column.
