The poem 'mending wall' is written by Robert frost conveys about the two contrasting views presented by the poet and the neighbor .poet says that there is no need for a wall he says there is something that doesn't love a wall.because of that every year the wall have being collapses for no reason. but the neighbor beliefs in the old proverb that good fences make good neighbor .every year they meet to repair the stone wall after new gaps are found in it .the poet could not find a real reason for putting up the wall.he doesn't love a wall.but the neighbor wanted it to be there as he believes in the old proverb good fences make good neighbors. the poet also says that nature doesn't love a wall .because of that the mysterious gaps appear and the walls fall from no reason. but the neighbors stick on to the proverb.
