Makarsankranti is one of the cultural and traditional festival celebrated throughout hole india . Sankranti is basically from Maharashtra and Gujrat .In maharashtra ladies usually meet everyone and distribute til gud among all ladies saying " tilgud ghya god god bola " which basically means eat til gud and speak sweet words. but what is til gud? thrley are basically laddoos made from mixture of jaggery and sesme seeds which tastes sweet. but in gujrat people fly kites and celebrate this day. it is also lnown as festival of kites which is celebrated by hindu religion people.
