Local boy Roopkumar Rajput has made Roopganj proud. Fifteen year old Roopkumar has won the Junior National Championship in archery yesterday. Among Four hundred participants Roopkumar bagged the top position.
Raised by humble agricultural parents, Roopkumar is a self made boy. The local sports coach gave him a few contacts but it is his talent and perseverance that has helped him reach his goal.
The localities fondly call him Arjun after the great mythological archer of the Mahabharata. But Roopkumar is more of an Ekalavya as he too hasn't got the guidance of Dronacharya. Roopganj is celebrating the victory of their wonder boy.
