Answer:

Wise men say, ‘EXCESS OF EVERYTHING IS NOT GOOD’. As far as TV viewing by children is concerned, the axiom is perfectly appropriate. Moderation is always the right option. However, children are too young to practice it. TV’s all over the world are doing more harm than to good, especially to children.

Uncontrolled and unregulated watching of TV can be very harmful. Children sitting in front of TVs for hours watching channels without any purpose can adversely influence their impressionable minds. This not only wastes the most precious commodity in the world—TIME, but also is unproductive in many ways such as affecting their physical and mental health. They may become exposed to unwholesome things. Sitting purposely in front of the TV makes children couch potatoes leading to health issues that further affect their other areas of life.

Parents and teachers must teach children the art of watching TV. Failing to do so is surely going to have repercussions.
