In the beginning of april, the prime minister shut the country into complete lockdown, which was harsh in a way. If anyone was caught out of their house unless if they needed food they had to do certain movements ( like squats) as a way of apologizing, so they could remember their mistake next time. It was pretty successful, as many would think that India would have been in a worst situation considering the population compared to the size of their country. As of now their is 1.12M cases confirmed, which is not that bad if you look at the 1.4B population in that tight space. THe country is still taking safety measures and will continue to for as long as the apex of the virus lasts.
