Nowadays, we can hear about thousands brutal , criminal incidents happening in every corner of our country. The crime rates in India have been and are increasing at a astonishing rate. A study conducted by Ofcom university reveals the drastic change in numbers of burglaries by 50% increase, not only this the overall crime rates have been increased by 2.8% between 2015 and 2020 and it's is still increasing.The cases registered against assault or domestic violence and many other are still pending, leading to accumulation of cases in the court's.India records the crime index of about 42.38 and is one of the top 50 countries with high crime rates. This rate if keeps increasing may effect economy and health of citizens. This can been be stopped with strict actions against criminals and by the support of people by increasing awareness about lodging complaint against even the smallest crimes or suspicious activities.
