Answer:

Computers have become an integral part of human lives. Almost every profession has benefitted from computers. Most of the tangible things that we see are either made or run by a computer. Children, too, have been reaping benefits from the constant use of computers, especially during the pandemic time when they attended their online classes on various educational platforms. It certainly was a boon for the students during the lockdown period. The computer also helps them with their homework's, projects, assignments and much more.

Every coin has two sides. Excessive use of computers has its own set of disadvantages. Too much use of computers can cause deterioration of vision in a child. Spending more time on computers may result in a child becoming over-weight and obese, leading to numerous health issues. Unfortunately, computers have turned into an addiction, as students using virtual meeting platforms like Whatsapp, Telegram, Discord, Instagram, Snapchat and many more, where they interact and share ideas virtually. They don't feel the need to meet in person anymore, hence loosing out on precious social skills. Subsequently, students get distracted from studies.

In the conclusion, we all need to reflect on the other side of the coin. We must remember that, excess of anything is bad and we must make the best use of the resources available to us.
