Global warming refers to an unequivocal and continuing rise in the average temperature of Earth's climate system.Global warming is the gradual warming of the earth surface because of the continuous increasing in the temperature of the atmosphere due to some natural and human made causes. The main cause of the global warming is the collection of greenhouse gases in the earth atmosphere which work as a blanket and trap lots of heat causing rise in temperature of the atmosphere. CO2 (also called carbon dioxide) gas is not good for the atmosphere, if it remains longer in the atmosphere, it would trap heat extremely which ultimately increase global temperature. High level of CO2 emissions in the atmosphere are caused by the burning of fossil fuels, cars, vehicles, coal-burning power plants, etc.

Global warming is caused by two reasons, one is natural causes and another is human made causes. Human beings are doing deforestation to a great extent however trees are main source to utilize carbon dioxide and perform global carbon cycle to maintain the percentage of this gas in the atmosphere. Deforestation has almost stopped this positive process of the plants of utilizing the CO2 which in turn increases the level of atmospheric carbon dioxide and rise in atmospheric temperature day by day.

Explanation:

                                  Global warming

Global warming is a part of climate change and is partially caused by increased greenhouse gases from burning of fossil fuels, deforestation, agriculture, and other industrial causes.

The Earth's temperature had already warmed by 1°C compared to pre-industrial levels. This temperature rise may appear small, but small rises in temperature translate into big changes for the world’s climate. This is because the amount of extra energy needed to increase the world’s temperature, even by a little, is vast. This extra energy is like force-feeding the global climate system.

·Hotter days

·Rising sea level

·oceans are warming

Melting glaciers, early snowmelt, and severe droughts will cause more dramatic water shortages and increase the risk of wildfires in the American West.

Rising sea levels will lead to coastal flooding on the Eastern Seaboard, especially in Florida, and in other areas such as the Gulf of Mexico.

Allergies, asthma, and infectious disease outbreaks will become more common due to increased growth of pollen-producing ragweed, higher levels of air pollution, and the spread of conditions favorable to pathogens and mosquitoes.
