In India, we make no difference while enjoying festivals. Be it Muslims, Hindus, Christians or Sikh. All festivals are celebrated with full exuberance.
- The roots of many of the largest festivals across the globe are found in religion.
- Feasts have traditionally been utilised by religious adherents as a special occasion for eating and celebration in order to honour gods. Christmas, Hanukkah, Diwali, Passover, Easter, Holi, and Eid al-Adha are a few of the most well-known religious holidays that function as calendar markers.
- The most colourful of all is undoubtedly India's Holi Festival. This annual event often referred to as the Color Throwing Festival, takes place in March. Hindus and Sikhs celebrate it by lighting bonfires and throwing coloured powder and water at one another for a really unique spectacle.
