It is said that
'Cleanliness is next to Godliness'. In order to live a good and happy life we
should keep our surroundings clean. Sanitation should not be looked after only
by the government everyone has to participate in keeping the country clean. Students
can help in keeping their neighbourhood and school clean. They should create
awareness in the people about the importance of living a life of dignity. Each
one should live a respectable life by practising good manners and showing
respect to others. There should be protection for all. Life should be safe.
Disputes should be settled in a peaceful manner by discussion and negotiation.
Violent methods should not be taken up to settle disputes. Only then can
everyone live a happy life.

Sanitation is an important aspect of a progressive society. The Prime Minister's pet project, Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan seeks to improve sanitation, hence giving a sense of dignity and security to everyone. People in the rural areas answer nature's call in the open fields, often becoming victims of heinous crimes. Furthermore, defecation in the open leads to the spread of diseases. With limited knowledge and a dearth of good medical facilities, particularly in remote areas, sanitation becomes an exceedingly crucial issue. It is linked to many other facets of society, like the law and order situation as well as the general health of the people. It is rightly said that sanitation can provide dignity and protection to people.
