India is a land of different sects, religions and communities. There is a great diversity in our tastes, manners, customs and habits. We speak different languages, and yet we are all Indians. ‘Unity in Diversity’ has been the distinctive feature of our culture. ‘Peaceful co-existence’ has been our motto. But unfortunately, this peace has been endangered now.
India is at present facing many problems. The gravest of these is the problem of communalism. It is the biggest threat to the unity and integrity of the country. Anti-national elements are exploiting the religious feelings of innocent people. It is most unfortunate for our country.
