Respected Madam
- This is Smita studying in Class 8C of your school. First of my aplogies to disturb you over email instead of meeting you in person for the same. Since the school has been closed for study holdiays and you are all busy with CBSE board invigilation, I did not wish to disturb you in person.
- I have an urgent doubt in Physics, chapter 8, question 21, page 43:
- "The input voltage from a generator plant into a transformer is 16 000 V. If the output voltage from the transformer to HV transmission lines is 3640,000 V, what would be the ratio of secondary:primary turns in this stepup transformer?"
- I tried working out several times, but was unable to to get the answer. If you could kindly help me with this doubt, I would be grateful.
