Respected Principal,

It is requested to grant me leave for ‘one week’ as my grandmother died last night. She was suffering from cancer and was admitted in hospital since last 1 year. My grandparents stay in Bangalore and my dad is the elder son of all. Hence, we are to remain present for all the rituals and support. This is the reason why I want leave for a week.

Kindly acknowledge my mail and grant me leave and oblige.
