according to Heisenberg uncertainty principle , the exact position and velocity of subatomic particles ( like electrons , protons , etc) cannot be determined simultaneously .
e.g if any body tries to measure position and momentum of electrons simultaneously , then there must be minimum error of h/4π .

hence, equation is
∆x .∆P ≥ h/4π
where ∆x is uncertainty of position , and ∆P is uncertainty of momentum .

also this equation derrived ,
∆v.∆x ≥ h/4πm

where ∆v is uncertainty of velocity .

The Uncertainty Principle was given by German Physicist Werner Heisenberg.

He gave two equations:

1) ∆x.∆p >= h/4π

where ∆x = uncertainty in position
∆p = uncertainty in momentum
h = Planck's Constant

2) ∆E.∆t >= h/4π

where ∆E = uncertainty in energy
∆t = uncertainty in time

If you are a school student, then you need to study only the first equation.
But do keep in mind that there is a second equation as well.
