The Foundation was born out of an alarming conclusion reached by a certain number of observers and economists on strengthening protectionist measures adopted by many countries in recent years.
It is in this context that, in 2012, the WTO announced figures for growth in world trade that were significantly lower than the average of those observed over the past twenty years.
The debates and discussions that we had very often conducted in Switzerland among experts in Indo-European relations were behind the creation of the Indiary Foundation in the same year.
