The real reason behind believing in superstition is to promote good luck and to give protection from bad luck. Indian people also have many superstitions. If a black cat crosses the road, they consider it bad luck. There is also superstition related to food. Here, people think that skin diseases can be caused by drinking milk after eating fish.
People in India consider the itchy palm as a symbol of money coming to the home. Here, people avoid peepal trees at night as they think that spirits and ghosts live here. There are many other superstitions in India. The new generation has started avoiding these and it is indicating good future of the society.
