ESSAY WRITING

Life of a student in an open learning institute v/s Life of a student in regular college

Education is the key for a better tomorrow.

Education has become the most important aspect of one's life. The youth today is the future of tomorrow. It is necessary to educate the youth to see a better tomorrow not only on a personal level but also on the country level. Education not only boosts oneself but also the economy of the country.

Due to an increased competition, not everyone is able to get admissions in regular colleges. Another factor which affects the admission to regular colleges is the affordability. Not everyone can afford the high fee structure of regular colleges. But that isn't a stop. Life is hard. We must learn to get the best out of everything.

Now, the life of a regular college going student varies from an open learning institute student in various factors. Let us discuss them :-

  • A regular college going student explores a lot of new things. The lectures are regular. When a student steps out from his/her home then he/she gets to learn about a lot of things. One is able to learn about many opportunities. In order to have a better personality, it is important to go out and interact with different people as this allows to enhance our knowledge about many things. Definitely, there are time management problems but one learns to manage it slowly and steadily.

  • An open learning institute student do not face time management problems like a regular college student does. The classes are generally conducted on weekends and students can choose the study centres as per their preferences. Now, classes are only conducted on the weekends and not regularly like on weekdays, like we have in the case of regular college students. Another drawback is that, one is not able to explore much opportunities in it as one does not go out much and have much interaction. Since, there is a lot of spare time with these students, then can use it wisely in learning new skills and enhancing their knowledge by self study in their particular subject. Students need to be more active in an open college. They need to hunt for opportunities themselves. The weekend classes are not compulsory to attend and due to this reason, many students skip classes which is not a good thing. So, one need to be more serious and attentive in an open college.

Every thing has both positive and negative aspects. Both the type of students need to work hard in order to score well and achieve something. It is just that, a regular college students explore many things practically which is a plus point.

What matters the most is one's will to study. Be serious and do not waste your golden time as in this time, you can either build your career or destroy it. Choice is yours. No matter in what type of college you are studying. Be focused and grab every opportunity you get.

Essay on Online learning Vs. Traditional learning.

Every coin has two sides. Pros and cons are a must in any field or ideology. Just the factors vary. It depends on how people utilize the opportunity. How much a person gets to cope up with a new thing. Disciplinary skills, flexibility, career advancement, learning environment, cost variation, and the list goes on; to compare online education and traditional education.

Taking on this topic, the first talk we need to have is about the environment. The environment in which we try to grasp things into our minds impacts a lot. A class that contains around 60 students is much different from the environment where one or two sit down to learn something. Focus matters, not the mugging up!

Traditional education helps the student in growing his/her self-disciplinary skills. A positive attitude comes with good organization skills, discipline, and punctuality. One holds a grip on these things when they face the real-time environment, which isn’t as cozy as his/her room. It brings out the frog from the well and makes it meet the competitive world.

Coming to online education, it has more pros. A person can entirely focus on his interests and develop himself in the field he wants to see himself being crowned. A class in which one doesn’t have any claim to sit in glues on the seat itself comes to traditional courses. In such times, online education becomes a savior. Lots of information, one place, unshakable concentration, and boom! One can become what he/she wants to be.

The next important factor is confidence. A student who goes for traditional education faces many people around and a group of prodigy lecturers. Presenting his ideas and thoughts among them takes a lot of courage. He may stammer first, but with time, he improves his confidence levels to the maximum point. And he will be the one who marks his feet on the success ladder, incredibly. Gaining such confidence in online education is the most challenging task.

Commuting won’t even come into the action when it comes to online education. One can learn things in a peaceful, free environment whenever he thinks that he can concentrate. Through this, they can learn schedule management. Moreover, they can learn a bit more than they usually do through online education. Interacting with lecturers won’t be a problem in an online education system. Once the students get habituated to this type of learning, their ability to concentrate on knowledge-based things becomes high.

Deviations happen mostly. Students need to get motivated from time to time to keep them on track of concentrating on their career ladder. Motivating students on face to face will have a lot of impact than the one done through online mode.

As we said, the list goes on. For slow learners, online education will be the best choice for slow graspers, traditional ones. Overall, It depends upon what a student wishes for. Not everyone’s learning ability is the same. And so not everyone’s interests. Online help you in giving quality education for free. But the traditional school helps you in nurturing the skills one needs out of academics, enormously.

Overall, one faces the light only after they meet the dark. Else, no one knows the difference between the two. It is the person himself who can change his life by the path he chooses. Whatever the path it may be, the more his hard work speaks, the more his success beams.
