Success Everyone's vision of success differs. Wealth, happiness, and fame are all the stereotypical aspirations of the common person's so-called "American Dream." My American dream encompasses more of the first two aspects than anything else. Happiness is the most important; without happiness, wealth and fame are useless. Without happiness, success cannot exist; it is your own personal gauge of accomplishment. If you cannot look at yourself in the mirror and evaluate your own life a success, then why should anyone else consider you successful? Wealth can attribute to happiness. No matter what anyone says, having more material goods makes your standard of living better, which normally is a direct correlate of happiness. It helps you experience the luxurious joys in life that, otherwise, you couldn't carry out. Fame, to me, isn't needed but rather acquired through the life of the successful person. A legacy is more honorable than a national fame, because after death fame is a more humble characteristic. Changing others lives, after they examined your life in retrospect, makes fame an irreplaceable cog in the machine of success. Admiration's and aspirations of a person can help determine how successful they will be. Role models help blaze a path of success in the minds of their prot " eg'e. If someone looks up to a person who themselves are successful, they have better odds of being successful themselves. On the other hand, looking up to a failure of a human being, thus in turn, creates the image in failure in the mind. I, myself, look up to the clich'e models of the father, school teacher, and famous athletes. Anybody who has been able to impact my life for the better is considered a role model, because if you take time to make someone's life better, especially in sacrifice of your own well-being, you are an admirable person. Karma runs full circle and kindness and charity are two traits no one can have enough of.You must do unto others as others would do unto you. Having goals and striving toward them must also exist in the successful mind; without them your life doesn't have a template to live itself out with. Life becomes a constant cycle of hopelessness and despair. Everyone must have a goal or dream of some sort, whether it is becoming President or just owning a home, goals are a necessity. Sometimes to make these dreams attainable, a strong work ethic is required. Success is something that very few people are presented with, most people must labor for their accomplishments. Laziness cannot be expected to be accompanied by the joys and triumphs of a successful life. But sadly that is a far too common belief in our country today. Most people want the credits and payouts of creating a successful business, but want it to appear with as little time and effort input as possible. Success cannot be expected in day, month, or even year. It could take many years of blood, sweat, and tears to make a vision a reality, but in the end, it would be worth every second..
