The problem of pollution has becòme very serious in recent years. Our future generations will suffer from the harmful effects of pollution if we do not tackle the problem.

There are different forms of pollution. Water pollution, air pollution, noise pollution are some of them. Pollution of all these kinds results from the greed of the man. Trees have been cut down for a large scale. A number of industries have been set up in almost every region of the country.

So unbalanced industrial growth is the main cause of water and air pollution. Industrial wastes are thrown into the river. So water is polluted. The factories and motor vehicles emit smoke and poisonous gases into the air and thus causes air pollution.

In order to check this pollution town and cities should be planned carefully. we mustn't dump industrial wastes on the earth surfaces or in the rivers. It should be destroyed by the use of chemicals. We should plant more and more trees and the cutting down of forest must be avoided. It is our responsibility to save the earth and make it world-living.
