Maharana Pratap have always been remember for his bravery & for saving the religion Hinduism from the clutches of the Mughals (muslims). He was born to a Rajput family of Mewar. He was married at the age of 17 to Maharani Ajabde Punwar. His wife was the greatest support who motivated him.
Maharana Pratap was daring enough to fight against the mighty Mughal, Akbar as he had promised bring back Chittor & many Mewar states to power and not under the Mughals.
Though in the battle of Haldighati went against the Rajputs; they were defeated but Maharana Pratap did not have away his fight against the Mughals. He fled away from the battlefield, on his horse, Chetak with quite a lot of adversities.
He did not leave his determination of freeing Mewar and thus in the battle of Dewar he was victorious & got many territories free from the clutches of the Mughals.
