A Nature Club is a non-political, self-sponsored and voluntary student organization of Government First Grade College, Nanjangud for the collection and circulation of the facts and knowledge about nature and natural resources, to develop students as nature-lovers and conservationists, and to propagate the spirit of nature conservancy among the public.
Nature club is an autonomous organisation of nature lovers from various departments of the college. The club has been active on the campus since last two decades and is affiliated to the WWF India. Under the leadership of the teacher co-ordinator, the club members assemble and elect an Executive Body including President, Vice-President, Secretary, Joint Secretary, Treasurer and ten council members for organising various programmes on the campus.

     Nature club is that kind of club which generally works for elements of nature and take initiatives to take care of nature by programmes. Nature club has several activities. This club conducts exhibition on environment, adventure activities and animal welfare activities.

        Members of it  participate in cleaning environment. It creates awareness in students about environment and motivates them. Competitions on drawing, slogans are also organised by them for school students. This helps to increase their interest and knowledge on nature.
