India is a country of villages. Most of the people of this country live in villages. The progress of India depends on the improvement of living conditions in villages. The villages have been neglected for a long time. The Indian villages are places of insanitation, poverty, and diseases. They are dirty. The roads and lanes of villages are very dirty. There is no proper arrangement a for drainage. The drains are filthy. They are the breeding-places of flies and mosquitoes. Majority of the villagers live in dirty hoses. They keep their cattle in the same house in which they live. The insanitary conditions of villages are harmful to health. So, the people living in villages suffer from various diseases.
