Well, there are many other festivals. But, Raksha-Bandhan is my favorite festival. We know the most beautiful relation in the world is the Brothers & Sisters. This festival is celebrated by mostly Hindus.
At this festival, there is happiness everywhere. The atmosphere is full of joy and loved. The word Raksha- Bhandan is a combination of two words Raksha - Bhandahan means Raksha - Protection and Bhandan - Tying.
This is a festival of brothers & Sisters. In this festival Sisters tie a ribbon on her brother's hand. That ribbon is called Rakhi. Sisters wish fro their brothers and seek their protection.
This begins with sisters applying tilak on their brothers' forehead. Brother gives gifts to their sisters and promise them that they will protect her in any situation.
This festival is only for Brothers & Sisters. This is a loveable and lovely festival. You know that this is not celebrated among real brother & sisters. This can also celebrate with cousins & friends.
