Swami Vivekananda was a great Hindu religious Saint and leader who founded the Ramakrishna Mission and Ramakrishna Math. we celebrate National Youth Day on 12th of Jan. every year as his birth anniversary. his father name is Vishwanath Dutta and his mother name is Bhuvaneshwari Devi. the Dutta family was reach rxpectable, and renowned for charity Qamar learning, and a storm spirit of independence. his father was an attorney-at-law in Calcutta High Court. he was proficientin English in person, and took great delight in reciting to his family the pems of the Persian poet HAFIZ. when he was at the critical juncture, he remembered the words of his professor, William Hastie, who had mentioned that is Saint lived at Dakshineswar, just outside Calcutta, who experience the ecstasy describe the Wordsworth in his poem The excursion.

                        Swami Vivekananda

Swami vivekananda was born on 12th January 1863 in calcutta ( Kolkata ). His original name was Narendra Nath Dutta. His father's name was Vishwanath Dutta and his mother's name was Bhuvaneshwari Devi. He was a child with great spiritual thoughts.

He was a great soul, a step towards the uplifting of mankind. There is a very famous story about him that, once when he was leaving for abroad for preaching the Hinduism. His mother wanted to check that whether his son is perfect for the mission or not. She invited him for the dinner. Swami enjoyed the delicious dinner, after the dinner, she gave him a dish of fruits and a knife. He cut and ate it. Then, his mother asked, " Son, can you please give me that knife"

Vivekananda immediately responded by giving the knife. Then, his mother calmly said, "Son, you have passed my test. And you have all my blessings." Then, Vivekananda surprisingly asked, "Mother, how did you tested me." She replied, "Son when I asked for the life I saw how you handed it to me, you gave me the knife by holding its sharp edge, and put the wooden edge towards me."

This shows that, you do care for others, rather than thinking about yourself. And, the person who thinks about others welfare, before himself, has got the right to preach the world. And you have got that right, you have all my blessings.

This story reveals that, how generous he was! He was a great person. Although he was having a short life, but he proved himself.
