Explanation:
The outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic all over the world has led to the retreat of man to their homes, and the animals venturing out to spaces erstwhile 'allowed' or accessible to them. With the rapid spread of the virus among humans, lockdowns and various forms of restrictions were imposed on the whole community. Thus, humans were scared to go out of their homes, leaving the streets free, open, and safe for the wildlife to venture out.
The ecological balance of the world had been long disturbed and left unbalanced with man destroying the natural habitats of animals. The prospect of development led to the destruction of forests and wildlife ecosystems, with lesser space for animals to feel at home. But with the virus and man's fear of dying, the need to confine oneself in the "safety" of one's own homes became a norm, a must. And with the retreat of men inside their homes, animals began to 'explore' the uncharted territory of man's world. There were numerous reports of wild animals roaming freely in the highways, streets, and even to the malls and other 'extreme' public spaces that were hitherto unknown to them. It's like nature has claimed its space back, or trying to. This pandemic has allowed the unbalanced ecological situation to be more balanced.

It had positive impact on ecological balance.
Explanation:
Corona virus pandemic had positive effect of the ecological balance for a short run. When the lock down started in Chinese city of Wuhan the air quality improved by 84 percent.
Similar effects were witnessed across the globe. As the transport, businesses and industries closed it led to decline in carbon emissions. In various cities animals were seen roaming the streets, birds reclaimed open spaces as humans had vanished from the streets. River water became cleaner. But all this ended once the lock down was lifted. COVID restored the ecological balance for a brief period.
