I was at a hypermarket quite late, around 11pm when I heard a sob. I instinctively looked around to see a child around 4 or 5 years with a pretty looking frock sitting down on the ground crying. I looked around to see if her parents were nearby as my isle was deserted, but there was not a soul close by. I walked up to the little girl and asked her if she was lost. She nodded. I asked her her name and if she remembers her parents mobile number. She responds by saying yes. By then, she is clutching my hand tightly. I give her a hug and tell her we are going to find her parents. I call the mobile number I’ve been given. My conversation with her parents

Parent - if you are her nursery teacher, call us during the day
Me - (getting frustrated) Please listen, Shamsa is here with me at the mall. We are standing at the checkout counter number 10. Can you come and get your daughter.
Parent - Silent and then he starts yelling to his wife asking where Shamsa was. After a few moments he panics and starts apologizing and said he was already at home which is a half hour drive away! And has been home for the last hour.
Me - You mean to say you left the mall?? Without your daughter?? And you didn’t know she was missing?
Facepalm. I waited patiently for him to arrive. I had to call the cops as well in case the father felt I have abducted the little girl. The mall was closing, so we both were taken to the mall security office with two cops asking me tons of questions and the girl was holding me, scared. I felt so bad for her. Finally after midnight her father arrives with a bunch of his relatives. He had to show identification and answer questions. The cops told him he can’t be so careless. Next thing I know, he looks at me, says thank you sheepishly and exits with his daughter, who kept saying ‘thank you’ and waving at me. Well, if you have kids, please make sure you don’t ‘FORGET’ to get them back home from wherever you have taken them! This world is not a safe place anymore. Anything could have happened. I’m glad I was able to save a child that day.

ok so I lost a bet I made with my brother on who will win the ipl. because of that I had to loose 500 bucks. (that was my 5 months pocket money) . so now I am sad because I lost. but I am positive that'll I'll get it back next year when I will make another bet with my brother on the next ipl.
