Vivekananda Kendra is the organization of Hindu spiritual purely based on the teachings of Swami Vivekananda. It was inaugurated by Eknath Ranade on 7th January, 1972 in Kanyakumari, India. Eknath Ranade was a senior pracharak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. The current president of Vivekananda Kendra is P. Parameswaran.
