This is usually one of those many questions I face whenever anyone knows that I am an avid reader as well as quite a film lover who will never ever miss out on a movie that has got a good rating. Perhaps, also an awesome actor.
So, if I am asked to pick out favorite actor, I would surely choose Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Cruise. I like the former for his great acting ability and swooning looks. The latter is a debonair completely and is also a good actor. Many a times, I have also been asked to choose between these two. Its a difficult choice. Ya, really difficult but I eventually choose Leo in the end.
Leo is one of Hollywood’s most gifted actors. One is certain to be be blown away by the transforming craft of his acting. I first time I saw him Titanic, I thought that he was okay as an actor and pretty good at being a teenage heartthrob. But as I begin to watch more of his movies. I came to acknowledge the fact that he is indeed a very good actor. Examples of his great acting skills can be seen in - The Revenant, The Wolf of Wall Street, What's Eating Gilbert Grape, The departed, revolutionary road,etc. He is also a devoted environmentalist, and is quite known for his relentless philanthropy.
Tom is also one of the most brilliant actors alive on Earth on now. He is a type of actor who impresses you even when he does not stretch outside his charismatic comfort zone. His performance in Jerry Maguire was picth-perfect. He gave a performance which was equally vulnerable, frustrating, yet captivating. He is so good as an great actor that choosing the best Tom Cruise performance is tough. He always generously anchors the direction of the film. Examples are :- Jerry Maguire, Magnolia, Rain man, Edge of tomorrow, the mission impossible movies, etc.
Hence, undoubtedly, both are my favorite actors. So, now its upto you to decide who's better than whom.
