Answer:

The United States Supreme Court  honours Muhammad (PBUH) as a source of law and justice alongside Moses, Solomon, and Confucius. He is admitted as the greatest law-giver of mankind. Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) was a great judge and arbiter. He always advised his followers to be just and fair in their dealings. Often he had to give his judgement about disputes between the warring tribes. A decision in such a situation could make the losing tribe his enemy; but he was never afraid of such things. What he did was to take into consideration the principles of justice and fairness. He decided the case regardless of caste, colour, or creed. Therefore, the nonbelievers also brought their cases to him for decisions.

Sakhr was a chief of a tribe. He had helped the Holy Prophet (PBUH) for which the Holy Prophet was obliged. The two cases were brought against him. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) decided against him and asked him to undo the wrong. This shows his absolute impartiality.

Once, a woman from Quraish was captured as a thief. The Holy Prophet ordered her hands to be cut off. Some people wanted to save her as she belonged to the honourable tribe of Quraish. Hazrat Usama Bin Zaid  requested the Holy Prophet to forgive her.The Holy Prophet (PBUH) became very angry at his request. He said that this was the practice of Bani Israil. They would punish the poor according to law and forgive the rich. Thus they were ruined. He further said that he would have cut the hands of his daughter Fatima if she had committed theft.

The Holy Prophet was very strict in doing justice. He did not bother if a just decision could harm him or any of his relatives. He decided every matter with justice without any worry or pleasure . He showed no malice for his enemies and no favour for his friends. The Holy prophet (PBUH) has given us noble noble ideas. He has also given these ideas a practical shape. Thus the whole mankind should follow his lifestyle.
