Himalayas in the Arunachal Pradesh:

  • The outskirts of the Himalayas on the inner eastern side are spanned by the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh which is also the northeastern most state of India.
  • Many small and large rivers that originate in the Himalayas flow through Arunachal Pradesh.
  • The proximity that Arunachal Pradesh possesses with the Himalayas dominates the climate of the state.
  • Apparently, the state forms the outer eastern edge of the Himalayas and is thus considered as the eastern boundary of the actual Himalayas.
