Part I : Jaipur junction has quite a rush all the time . Specially during the start and end of college semesters (MNIT) . Mostly long distance trains halt at the station between 12 to 3 am early. With very mild visibility you can get lost. And students enter with huge luggages because they return from home.
Part II : I was coming back from home. I was to reach at 2 am with my 2 trolley bags ,a handbag full of eatables that mom forcefully handed me, and a laptop backpack.
I like trains a lot actually. I talk to people while travelling and make friends with them. This time too i made a friend and so we were talking till we departed.
Careful : At the junction autowalas encircle you and try to carry your bag to their autos . So that you ride with them. They just wait for your slightest yes or even an accidental nod.
Suggestions : Autos are expensive at night . So are uber ola . It's better to ask autowala that you are willing to share ride for same destination or same direction travel.
Story : That night i came out of the station and the expected happened. Autowalas came in “ bhaiya mnit ?
One of the autowala took my handbag ( one with all the food items), and he started showing me way to his auto . I bid goodbye to my friend i met on train and walked then towards the auto. After little walking i reached the auto in the stand.
I found he had 2 more people sitting in there. I thought he took my advice of sharing . This will cost me less. Iwas happy having saved some bucks. I saw back in that dim light if my bag was properly kept ( the handbag that autowala carried before me) . It was all good. The ride was on.
Having saved on my auto ride ,i planned my next biryani meal. All good.
But wait -where is he going? This isn't the way to college.
Oh this might be a detour to drop the other two. Their destination came and they started moving out and taking out their luggage. Yes i was thinking right - detour thingy.
