                                  Sub: Informal letter to your father about hostel  

Dear father,

              I was happy to receive your letter yesterday. You asked me about my hostel so I am writing a letter in brief regarding it.

            Hostel is entirely different from village and I enjoyed so far. Shank Military Hostel is a good hostel. There are 53 rooms and 2 halls inside hostel premises. I share room with 2 students. All hostel in-mates live  friends. We get milk, bread and biscuits at 7:30 am at breakfast time. We served lunch at 12:30 pm. Food served here is tasty. There's a library inside hostel and TV room too. Hostel authorities take us out for picnics.  

          Mr. Sen is warden of this hostel. He looks after all our issues. He is kind and cooperative. I am happy here.
