My cousin Rahul, 24 year old, joined the Indian Army as a soldier this day last year. He is 6’3” tall and well-built for his height. He is the first person from our family to enter the armed forces. So, the entire family is quite proud of him. Rahul is currently posted at the Bangalore Cantonment. He reports to Brigadier Varma who is a tough superior officer. Rahul has always wanted to do something for the betterment of the country. It was this desire in him that made him join the Army. I am sure that he will serve the country well.
