Exclusive interview of KCR; TRS president
K Chandrasekhar Rao, the exlusive president of the Telangana Rastra Samiti, held the pulse and nerve of Telangana agitation and movement. Nothing misses him and he never misses an opportunity to raise the Telangana bandwagon to achieve his goal of separate state .
The TRS leader spoke of his fears and hopes for Telangana with APherald.com in a short interaction yesterday after a meeting of T JAC and TRS leaders at K K Residence .
APHerald.com: Warm greetings on Ganesh chavathi and your successful leadership of Telangana movement sir . You are just back from Delhi. How do you perceive the developments there in favor of Telangana or against it?
KCR : Any fool in Delhi will tell you which way the wind is blowing. It is the Seemandhra MPs, Ministers and leaders who are misleading people that Telangana is being stalled.
If you have faith in me,I only reaffirm that Telangana is on right track .Everything is moving in the correct direction. I met AK Antony,Digvijay Singh ,Law minister , Sushil Kumar Shinde and several others.They all say that there is no halting of the CWC decision.
APHerald.com : Then why is center allowing its Seemandhra ministers and MPs to mislead and bluff to people of that region ?
KCR : That is something you should ask them.I firmly appeal to Seemandhra people not to be fooled by their leaders again and again . I openly invite any Seemandhra civilian to come to me if he has any personal grouse or fears on education, protection and also future of their families in Telangana . I will go out of the way if there is real threat from any one .
I appeal to all please do not place hurdles .We have suffered under the rule of these politicians for six decades .They throw rules and legislation's to winds . We have seen what happened in YSR,NJR and even Chandrababu Naidu regime . They behave always as themselves as the Law .
APHerald.com: How will you address the issues of water sharing, Hyderabad, Power and employment which are raised by Seemandhra intellectuals ?
KCR : Same way as they were resolved by all during the formation of states of Chattisgarh ,Jharkhand and Uttarkhand. Let me tell you when Chattisgarh was formed there were huge issues of water, power and also mining and Madhya Pradesh was the looser.They are still being addressed and an acceptable formula has been set framed .
Such a thing happens whenever there are state bifurcations. We will not ask any one to go. But we will also not stop any one from going. However we make it clear that we will also not allow any one to occupy the rights and privileges of Telangana people any more.
APHerald.com: Why is that you are painted as a villain by TDP and Congress?. Why relations have soured up between you and Chandababu Naidu as you ere part of them till a decade ago ?
KCR : You should know that I personally do not attack any one . But will not spare anyone who tries to malign me. That is what happened between me and TDP .
TDP chief can never withstand truth .He always tries to make others accept that whatever he said was the truth. Many of us in TDP fell out of him only because of such acts and pressures.
We could not be appeased with offers of posts and positions like others who accepted speaker posts and also ministries etc in his regime even though they opposed him.
APHerald.com: One last question .What about the merger of TRS with congress .Is it still on ?.
KCR : That is a political issue between us and the Congress party .There are so many other things linked to it .You know the TRS had fought elections with Congress in 2004 and later walked out of the alliance and government both at center and state .So that should give you an understanding that neither TRS or me plan to work with Congress for any positions or power.
It was the congress which had raised the issue of merger with us in the past and again after the July 31st announcement .Let them come with an concrete proposal , then we will decide about it . We will decide only if it helped Telangana people and Government and not just the TRS party or me in positions and posts .
APHerald.com: When do you see the real Telangana happening?
KCR : Telangana is a certainty now .Whether it happened before or after the 2014 polls is the big question everyone is asking . We have to note that beside AP the UPA government is also facing huge number of issues including Rupee fall etc.
So we keep our fingers crossed. We are certain of one thing that there is no going back on Telangana now .If congress or anyone else does( try to chage)it , then it is their own business. We are prepared to fight all issues politically without any hitch .

a. What are the steps taken to develop Hyderabad in line with New York?
b. What are the plans to increase job opportunities?
c. How are the reservation policies going to be implemented and what would the percentages?
d. What are his views on state autonomy and his relationship with the central government?
e. What are the milestones reached for the newborn state and what are his future plans for Telangana state and to improve the overall quality of his people?
f. How is he going to strengthen the already existing IT industry in Hyderabad?
