Characteristics of colloidal solution are:

following are the 3 characteristics of colloids :-

(1) these appear to be homogeneous but are heterogeneous in nature .

(2) it scatters the beam of light or it shows Tyndall effect.

(3) these particles also pass through a filter paper.

and, here are some extra points of colloidal solution:-

(4) it's particles size is between ${10}^{ - 4} \: to \: {10}^{ - 7} cm$

(5) it's particles are charged.
