Write any five features of the constitution drafted by national assembly?

1. The National Assembly completed the draft on the constitution in 1791. Its main object was to limit the powers of the monarch

2. It made France a Constitutional Monarchy.

3. Power was now separated into the hands of executive, legislature and the judiciary

4. Only men above 25 yrs of age and who paid taxes equal to three days of a worker's wage could vote (ACTIVE CITIZENS)

5, Women, youth below 25 yrs and rest of the men were not allowed to vote (PASSIVE CITIZENS)

6.Laws were made in the national assembly that was indirectly elected.

7. To qualify as an elector and then as the member of the Assembly, one had to belong to the highest bracket of taxpayers.

1) Feaudal system was abolished.

2)Power to make laws vested in the national assembly.

3) Right to vote only men above 25 years of age pay taxes equal to atleast 3days of labours wage were entitled to vote.

4) The main objective of the new constitution of the France was limiting the powers of the new king.

5) Powers were distributed among different institutions -the legislature , the executive and the judiciary.
