1. The National Assembly completed the draft on the constitution in 1791. Its main object was to limit the powers of the monarch
2. It made France a Constitutional Monarchy.
3. Power was now separated into the hands of executive, legislature and the judiciary
4. Only men above 25 yrs of age and who paid taxes equal to three days of a worker's wage could vote (ACTIVE CITIZENS)
5, Women, youth below 25 yrs and rest of the men were not allowed to vote (PASSIVE CITIZENS)
