Scalars - Have only magnitude
Vectors - Have magnitude and direction
Scalars - Can be added arithmetically
Vectors - Can be added by vector addition
Scalars - Can't be broken down into components
Vectors -  Can be broken into components
Scalars - It can be represented by numbers or just alphabets or symols are taken as repersentation
Vectors - It is represented by a Arrow and with a cap for unit vectors  eg = â
