Since x+3y=7

So x=7-3y--(1)

Now

(1)If y=0

then x=7

So solution=(7,0)

(2)If y=1

then x=4

So Solution=(4,1)

(3)If y=2

then x=1

So solution=(1,2)

(4)If y= -1

then x=10

So solution=(10,-1)

Hope it is helpful.

Given : x+3y=7

To Find :  any four solutions

Solution:

x+3y=7

Equation of  a line in 2 variables has Infinite solutions.

x+3y=7

y = 0

=> x + 3(0) = 7

=> x = 7

Hence (7 ,0) is one of the solution

y = -1

=> x + 3(-1) = 7

=> x = 10

Hence (10 ,-1) is one of the solution

y = 1

=> x + 3(1) = 7

=> x = 4

Hence (4 ,1) is one of the solution

y = 2

=> x + 3(2) = 7

=> x = 1

Hence (1 ,2) is one of the solution

y = 3

=> x + 3(3) = 7

=> x = -2

Hence (-2 ,3) is one of the solution

Hence Few solutions of the  equation x+3y=7  are:

(-2, 3) , ( 1 , 2) , ( 4 , 1) , ( 7 , 0) and (10 , - 1)
