There is not only one way to prevent destroy of plant species. There are many ways we must can do to conserve it :

-- Social forestry should be adopted. People should plant fast - growing trees on available land such as boundaries of fields, along the road sides and railway tracks, along canals, e.t.c. or get fire wood, fodder, timber, fruits, e.t.c.
Plants are referred as producers as they can prepare their own food. The process of photosynthesis takes in carbon dioxide and releases oxygen.
Oxygen is required for our survival. As humans and plants are interlinked with each other for survival it is necessary to conserve plants.
The most efficient way to conserve plants is to educate people about the importance of plants and the counter effects of destroying them. Excessive logging should be stopped and forest habitat should not be disturbed.
The people should plant enough trees to make up for the destruction before and make the world a better place to live in.
