The 6 internal problems of India are as follows:
Religious problem: The bigotry of religion is a major problem in India. People of every religion are becoming fanatical toward their religion. Be it Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs or people of any other religion. Religious bigotry creates an atmosphere of unrest inside India. Hindu-Muslim disputes often take place in India.
Unemployment: One of the major problems in India is unemployment. India's growth rate is getting affected due to rising unemployment.
Increasing population: The increasing population is the most burning problem in India, as India's population is increasing, the burden on India's limited resources is increasing, which is affecting the development of India.
Corruption: The roots of corruption are deeply rooted in the government departments of India and many other institutions. Corruption has hollowed out India's bureaucracy like a termite, so corruption is also a major problem in India.
Illiteracy: Illiteracy is a major problem in India because, despite all the efforts of education, India has not become a hundred per cent educated country, which hinders the path of making India a developed nation.
Terrorism: Terrorism spread in some areas of India, especially in Jammu and Kashmir, remains a headache for India.

- Religious problems : India's biggest problem is religious bigotry. Although Indians say it is important to respect all religions, there is not much in common among major religious groups that prefer to remain separate. Due to religious fanaticism, the respect of one religion for the other has diminished, and as a result, there are frequent conflicts in India between different religions, especially Hindus and Muslims.
- Corruption problems : Corruption is one of the biggest problems of India. The Worldwide Corruption Barometer said that the bribe rate in India is 39 percent, in this case India is the leader in corruption. The poisonous tree of corruption is taking its strong roots everywhere from government departments to all the institutions.
- Unemployment problems : The main economic problem of independent India is the problem of unemployment. Today, unemployment is at an alarming rate. Many educated youth are currently turning to crime due to lack of jobs fueling unemployment and diversion of education for unemployment has increased.
- Increasing population : One of the major problems in India is population growth, India is currently the second most populous country in the world. About 17% of the world's population lives in India, so there is one Indian for every 6 people in the world. India's population has grown the most since independence and continues to grow, and it is estimated that by 2025, India will overtake China as the world's most populous country.
- Illiteracy problems : Illiteracy is one of the major problems of India since independence. The literacy rate in India is 74.04 percent according to the 2011 census. According to a recent United Nations report, India is also the country with the largest number of illiterate people in the world. Illiteracy is one of the biggest obstacles in India's progress.
- Political problems : One of the major problems in India is political problems where anything is conflated with politics and if the ruling political party takes any good step, the opposition opposes it politically, so the chances of anything good happening are reduced.
