This move by the ruling government led to massive protests from all sides of the country, and majorly in the state itself. This led to the shutdown of internet and communicative services in the state, foreigners were not allowed to enter the state, and even the students of these states studying in major cities of the country are targeted and even attacked.
The removal of the Article 370 by the government on August 2019 may have been a good thing for some but it also is a tragic one for others too. It has led to the loss of lives, the loss of any freedom to lead a normal life even within the confines of one's own home.
