Tropical dry deciduous forest

1) These forest are found in areas receiving annual rainfall between 70cm and 10cm.

2) There are open stretches in which teak, sal, peepal neam etc.

3) These forest are found in the rainer parts of the peninsular plateau and the plains of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

Tropical moist deciduous forest

1) These forest are found in areas receiving annual rainfall between 100cm and 200cm.

2) Trees found in these forests and teak, sal, shisham, sandalwood, khair, etc.

3)These forests are generally found in Jharkhand, west Orissa, Chhattisgarh and on the eastern slopes of the Western Ghats.
